Stephane Giordano was born in New-York, and was raised in Cannes. He started to work with his father as a cook but never stopped drawing, and began painting in 2002 because health problems. Then worked as a restaurant manager for ten years.
Something missed, so he quit his job and settled down on the French Riviera in the old art village of Mougins. He started to paint contemporary art, handling salvaged materials, especially tapes of video cassettes, using them like brows of brushes.
It is not a cerebral vascular attack in 2011 which prevent him from continuing to paint.
